Wow I can't believe acting is done. The year has gone so fast. I am really going to miss all my fellow classmates and teacher. I've been in this class for two years now. I've had a great time and have learned a lot about acting from Mrs G. Now it is time to move on. Looking back at my goals from two years ago I feel like I have achieved much an acting class. I still want to pursue acting. It was something I enjoy doing with my class. I feel like I worked on a lot of things that I thought I needed to be better on the beginning of the year. Working on looking more comfortable on camera. More projection, and just improving my skills as a whole.
Looking back from when I said I wanted to act in sitcoms like George Lopez and others I still think I can do that with more practice. Acting is not as easy as it seems. I like how this class exposed me to all different kind of acting. From last year to this year I got a good feel for musical theater, comedy, drama, and silent films. I may even want to take this class next year but that's going to be a gametime decision. I feel if I do take acting again it will benefit me in the long run it's backed into something I really do want to pursue.
I feel my progression and acting since two years ago's has been night and day. I have definitely improved a lot since my day as a freshman in till now. Had a great ride coming in as a freshman I was not too sure what to expect in acting class. All I knew was that I wanted to try it. I turned out to really like it which is why I took it again this year. I wanted to improve on my skills even more. I really did have fun in acting class.
My last project turned out to be good. I will send off for my acting class final grade. For the little amount of time that we actually had together the three of us did a good job of performing this. There were some screwup which is understandable since really no one ever memorize their lines except for me. I thought mine was one of the better final projects because of the incorporation of the class and light act I thought mine was one of the better final projects because of the incorporation of the class. It was really fun and high tempo which everyone enjoyed.
Even though last year's class was a lot bigger, and I had a lot of friends in that class, this year of acting was fun. I met some new people that I would've not met if I didn't take acting. I am really going to miss this class. It will be a gametime decision if I take this next year. Mrs G is a great teacher, and I am grateful to have taken 2 years of acting class with her. Thank you for everything. Peace!!!!!

Final project
I acting project is coming along very well. I am doing a scene From the hit teen nick show Zoey 101. The scene is actually a mini film that was created 10 years after the time capsule episode. This episode shows chase finally knowing what Zoey set about him and her video. The scene is well funny and serious. I like the lot and I think we can do a really good job with it as a class. It seems kind of long so I shortened the original script to make it more convenient for us. It should be around a one and a half minutes to two minutes long. I'm doing it with two people most likely Gia and Jake. I have confidence in them that they can learn the lines I gave them. I think it's pretty well split I think I got 25 lines and Jake will have about 12, and Gia I will have about six. We haven't started working on it yet but I'm confident when we do we will be good. Somethings just improve on now are memorizing the lines and preparing the scene and staging. But all in all I have made some pretty big leaps with progress for my final scene. Friday wasn't really sure what I was going to do, Monday I thought I was going to do something that I was not going to do, and then on Tuesday I finally came to this conclusion that I'm gonna do this. I think the scene will be really good and memorable. It'll be fun to produce from my friends. I'm definitely going to miss acting class. I had a great time.

High School is Rough
https://youtu.be/Zm6acSD7hY4
Wow. This was the last project that I will do an acting for this year other than the final. I had a lot of fun in this class. The kids are great and we have a lot of fun in the past few months. Our latest seen with that guy and girl over talking about struggles of high school. Steven approcahes Shelia and sees that she has been in a fight. They talk and hit it off after some intense moments and revelations.
Our project and production of this scene turned out great. Gia and I both did a great job of acting the scene out. We made tremendous strides in the past 3 days. The first day you're both not sure of our lines coming off the long break. We were needing to look at the script every other line just to get through to scene. The second day was a memorization quiz. We both performed well in the quiz. But we're still sketchy with our acting. On the third and final day of rehearsing and producing the scene we stepped up and delivered a outstanding version of the scene. I think we covered our lines maybe forgetting one but otherwise we're pretty crisp. It only took 3 takes to get a contious take of the scene. It turned out to be really good and I think everyone was happy with it. I can say for fact that we went out with a bang with this scene.

Final Exam project acting
Wow!! Year two of acting is almost over. It's crazy to think how time flies. I'll be faced with a tough decision next year if I should do acting again or try something new. I will really look back in my time and acting and decide for myself if it's something I want to pursue.
As our final exam approaches, here are some ideas I believe will be good for me for the project. I feel a monologue about something funny would be the best thing. I feel if I were to write the monologue myself it would be easier to memorize. I am also capable of being able to have a good sense of when to change age the tone of my voice. This is a strong spot in my acting. This is one idea. This is one idea. Another is that Gia and I could finish our scene we never got to perform before break. We were in the process of memorizing lines before thanksgiving break. Finishing it since we weren't really that far into the process of peferoming it could be a possibility. This will bring out the best of us as actors. Lastly I believe a scene from a movie would be a good. Something I watch regularly so I could easily memorize the lines, and so I can really get unit character.
As acting comes to a close, I am grateful for all the guidance that Mrs. Guarino has given me. I hope to take the skills that I have learned from her class and take them with me and pursue acting. I have had a lot of fun in this class and have met some real good people I have have friendships with now. I hope that my final project has a lasting memory on the class of me as a actor.

Silent Movie
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vaZmnPCdnYA
Our silent movie turned out to be good. The acting was great by all of my peers. We all had a lot of fun doing it. We were productive as a group and finished before our classes deadline. The project was good and the plot of the movie was a old lady who really didn't get hit by a car but made a big fuss and ended up getting the alleged driver arrested at the end the old lady turned out to be the crook beciass she stole the mans wallet that the police officer threw on the ground while arresting the man.
We ran into some complications with filming. Our first camera's battery couldn't last the whole period! This rushed the filming of some of our scenes to the point where if we had a better camera we could of executed them better. The rest of the movie was filmed on an iPhone. This was one problem we overcame as a group!
The filming turned out to be okay. The one scene that was supposed to show the old lady getting hit by the car was filmed poorly. It shows my character pushing the car which was not supposed to happen. The scene didn't show the significance of the car not hitting the old lady. It can be hard to interpret if you don't know the plot ahead of time. We could of resolved this by going with the original idea of having a zoomed out camera angle and having both the driver and the old lady in view of the camera at the same time. This would of stressed the plot and I wouldn't be in the scene if we filmed it like this because I would have pushed the car to a speed where I wouldn't have been behind the car slowly wheeling him to the intersection. Staging was also not great. We can see a piano and many pieces of furniture in the scene. This was supposed to be a open highway. But all and all my group did great.
At the end of the day I am proud of my group for overcoming many obstacles such as lack of props and ended up putting together a solid film. We will work harder and harder until we can achieve what we want in acting class.

Blog 4
Our movement project last week turned out to be very good. Victoria is a very skilled actress and I enjoy working with her. Our two roles were as two little kids playing in the park after arranging a play date. In the beginning of the play her character was looking for mine and couldn't find him. I then come out and we play hide and seek and at the end of the play my parents come to pick me up I wave good bye and that is how the play ends. Our silent movie progress in class has been OK. Today was a morning class and no one was into it. Other classes some people are more involved than others, but we all did input our ideas on how we want to run this silent movie. Today was also tough becuase we don't have a clear cut director like last year who ran the movie scenes. But in class we came up with a good setting, plot and conflict. Or silent movie is going to be about two crazy girl fans standing in line for hours before finally getting an opportunity to meet their favorite actor. But just as they get in the front of the line the famous actor decides to take a break from signing autographs. I will play the bodyguard that are standing in front of the actor while he is on his phone paying no attention to the only two fans that are left that want autographs. It'll be funny because it's highly unlikely he and the two girls will decide to overthrow the bodyguard and chase the famous actor around until they get their autograph in their way with him.
It is sometimes difficult to be on the same page as my peers. You'll have different ideas that we think are good. We try to incorporate all that but that's not how show business works. Music gave us a little issues today we all found pieces that we think can work. It'll be tough to decide on one piece so we may need to incorporate more than one piece of music into our final project. The movers will be over exaggerated to emphasize the pot and conflict. Since we can't use your words we have to use our bodies to act. The movements will show frustration, anger and happiness for the girls at the end and sorrow for the actor. The body guard will be unconscious. I think this piece can be really good if we all do our jobs and click together as one.

Monologue Mauled
https://youtu.be/zU_LeRuYF2k
My monologue project turned out to be very good. I used a good acting voice that projected and used good body movement to incorporate with the general mood of the scene. The ending could have been a bit stronger, and once my scene was over I had thought that could of took my monologue to the next level. I thought of having the camera filming my acting monologue could have been a paparazzi member filming me in a first person film which would have given it a more realistic view. There were some times were I stumbled in the first take but I cleared that up in the second take although I did have one line rearrangement at the very end. I could have prepared my fellow classmate better for him to understand the scene a little bit better. But he preformed well for the task at hand. I could of had more emphasis in some scenes but for the most part it was good. I could of also spend more time at home going over the lines.
My peers monologues were very good as well. They had good movements and did a good job remembering there lines. Everyone did a good job and was prepared well. Victoria's project was good and she really acted like a 6 year old girl which was great. I really liked how Jake paced back and forth. He could of done a better job with the pirate voice and being more angry. G's monolgue was great. I thought she nailed everything and the ending was better than what I expected from watching her act in class before today. I think yesterday really helped her. My monolgue was good. I thought I could done a better job if I prepared myself at home for often.
