Monologue Mauled
https://youtu.be/zU_LeRuYF2k
My monologue project turned out to be very good. I used a good acting voice that projected and used good body movement to incorporate with the general mood of the scene. The ending could have been a bit stronger, and once my scene was over I had thought that could of took my monologue to the next level. I thought of having the camera filming my acting monologue could have been a paparazzi member filming me in a first person film which would have given it a more realistic view. There were some times were I stumbled in the first take but I cleared that up in the second take although I did have one line rearrangement at the very end. I could have prepared my fellow classmate better for him to understand the scene a little bit better. But he preformed well for the task at hand. I could of had more emphasis in some scenes but for the most part it was good. I could of also spend more time at home going over the lines.
My peers monologues were very good as well. They had good movements and did a good job remembering there lines. Everyone did a good job and was prepared well. Victoria's project was good and she really acted like a 6 year old girl which was great. I really liked how Jake paced back and forth. He could of done a better job with the pirate voice and being more angry. G's monolgue was great. I thought she nailed everything and the ending was better than what I expected from watching her act in class before today. I think yesterday really helped her. My monolgue was good. I thought I could done a better job if I prepared myself at home for often.

In Class Blog
I plan to add more emotion into my blog. It feels kind of dull to me as of right now. I need to work on memorizing my lines better, and not looking at the ground while I act. I think that I should have a couple of actors ambush me in the beginning of this monologue to really sell the scene and emotion that goes along with it. My monologue looks good as of now and can really be special if I put the work into it. I look forward to improving and making my monologue better.

Peer Respones
Comment on the following things:
1. what was done well and what you liked
2. the volume of the voice and how well it was projected
3. the tempo of the monologue and if it needs to be slower or faster at any point
4. the emotional expression
5. the body language and blocking
6. the facial expression
7. the emotional build or change
8. creating of a distinct character
9. staying in character
10. overall what actor needs to work on
Victoria: really is very good with her monologue. She does a great job memorizing her lines and acting as a little kid. I believe she can be a little more excited and act more childish but otherwise she is very good
Jake: he does a very good job playing a character as a pirate. I would like to see more pirate vocabulary though. Otherwise she does a very good job and is very skilled actor.
G: She is very comfortable with her monologue. I think it was very good I think the jump set would be a good job though in acting. She needs to get more frantic and scared at the end when she's about to hit the bottom of the hole

Rough Monologue
What I saw from my rough draft monologue was good potential to become a great monologue. I think once I master the lines it will be a lot better. I need to be more confrontable and become better at expressing emotions becuase right now I feel my monologue is kind of bland.

Blog 2 Awesome Acting Class
I have had a good time in acting class so far. I like it a lot. I took this class last year and had a great time doing it. Acting has been good to me so far. The teacher is great we as a class have a great time. Even though there are only four of us we click very well and no one has any problems with anybody.
The easiest thing for me in acting class so far has been abilty to act. I feel I am one of the more experienced in the class. This is different from last year because last year I was in the same position as the new students are in. I feel as if the other students look up to me for acting knowledge. It has been easy for me to be more outgoing and more comfortable in front of the camera or teacher/ audience. I feel like this class has been easy for me because I took it last year.
The hardest thing for me in acting so far has been adjusting to the small class. Last year I like the kids a lot in the class but sadly no one decided to retake the class, leaving me stranded. My class last year was very fun and I was looking forward building on our relationships as friends in the acting class. This did not happen. It was disappointing to me. Many students this year decided to drop the class before even giving it a chance. I was disappointed they did not do this, but I understood where they were coming from. It was discouraging.
I like projects that involve more in-depth scenes where to characters or more are playing a role that could be in a movie or TV show. I want to do more of this because it will help me become a better actor because this is something I want to do with my life. I like last year's projects because I thought a prepared me well I am hoping to build on that and become a better actor so I can one day become a actor.
Something I want to and need to work on for the rest of this class year is to be more comfortable with myself on stage and just become a better actor in general. I know and feel I have a lot of potential to become a great actor one day. I just need to get more experience and hopefully they discovered one day as an actor .

My character monologue Standford Clark
I am talking to the audience that is in front of me. This monologue probably comes right after a scene were my character got really mad from being swarmed by poperatizi. He wants to quit his life and stop being famous. My character is a male around age 30 tall, blonde hair. His name is Stanford Clark. Standoford Clark was very educated in the past and a bit of a nerd. Stanford has only been famous for about 3 months. He is stuck up, and does not know how to cope with being famous yet. He got a job as a intern for Tom Cruise while he was shooting a movie. Still a innocent kid. One day Tom Cruise got seriously hurt and couldn't film the movie so they came to Standoford for the lead. He played in the movie and did a decent enough job. The movie became a huge hit and he became mega famous real quick. At first being famous was all good but now he is starting to get annoyed with all the attention that is on him. The scene is gonna be very up tempo and funny. I'm gonna have to use my body a lot.

Blog In Class
Today I had a great time in acting class. It was fun. I learned about movtivation, objective, and obstacles. I learned how to become a better actor today. I can defiantly use this if I ever were to go to a audition. I learned in order to make scenes interesting you must have some sort of conflict to achieving your obstacle. In the first scene my objective was already achieved before the scene even started, so in order to make it interesting I switched seats to spice the scene up a bit. Ultimately I made the scene better, but I now know that I should not contradict myself and my objective.

First blog
Hi, my name is Josh Comune. I am a Sophmore at Cheshire Academy. I am from West Paterson, New Jersey. I'm taking acting for the second year in a row. It was very fun last year. I am a quarterback for the football team here at Cheshire Academy. I want to go off to a D1 college football program on a full scholarship, and my goal is to become an quarterback in the NFL. I want to have a great legacy that will follow me for the rest of my life. It's been fun and stressful already and I can't wait to see what happens in the next years to come. I always say by being from New Jersey and going to school in Connecticut is hard. It is a different way of life, people act differently up here. It is a great experience to get away from home and make a name for myself.
I took this class last year and had a great time doing it. I really like acting. I also would want to do some modeling as well. People tell me I'm outgoing and have a natural glow. My family has been around people that have made it big time and many films. It is cool to look at them and see that they came from the same area that I am from and made it big time. I like acting. I like the class I am in the we are a great mix of different kind of people. Everyone is different, coming from different places, and having different goals. I have always been fond of acting and modeling when I was a kid, just never took any part to pursuing it. People just want to be around me. People who are involved in football always tells you to have a backup plan. If I were to pursue acting I could see myself in many kind of films. Sitcoms, action movies, thriller, scary movies, or even on the NFL network. I like being in front of a camera. It is fun. I really like acting and I could defiantly see it being a career for me.
Whenever I watch TV shows I always think to myself that I could do that. I love watching shows like Friends The George lopez show, and Lopez. I can see myself modeling too. I like how David Beckham used sports to make a big name for himself and then go into modeling later on in life. I feel as if I have a lot of potential to pursue acting. I know this class can help me with my skills a lot. I feel that this class will be a lot of fun this year. The teacher is great and the students are fine. We are all having a good time. I cannot wait for acting class to come into full effect.
